Does this use the real ChatGPT API?

Yes! It uses GPT-3.5-turbo, the model behind the popular chatbot ChatGPT.

Who pays for the API usage?

Me, the developer. Because of this, I cannot guarantee this tool will stay free, or even accessible at all. You can donate if you want to support me and the tool.

ChatGPT works with inputs, so why can't I input anything here?

For security/safety reasons. But, there's a chance this will be possible in the future. For now, the prompt just instructs the model to generate a game idea of around 100 words.

Why are the generated ideas often very similar?

Honestly, I don't know. The model's temperature is set to 1, so the generations should be more or less diverse. Future updates will hopefully increase diversity in game ideas generated.
